Here at SJ Body Repair we carry out comprehensive repairs, from the smallest scrape to larger scale accident damage and even insurance work. With a focus on attention to detail and using high quality paints and materials, we will return your vehicle to its pre-accident condition.

Dents and scratches can be unsightly so we are here to help with putting those blemishes right. From localised repairs to the larger scale flaws on your vehicle's bodywork, we can bring your vehicle back to its former glory.
Body Restoration
When it comes to the restoration of classic cars or any large scale project, customer input is key, after all it is their project and their vision and we aim to ensure that the owners dream becomes a reality. Owners of the vehicle are encouraged to regularly pop in to see how their project is progressing and keep up to date with any developments that may occur. We can even keep a photographic account of the project which can be helpful for you when showing or even selling your classic car.
As with any large scale project, we understand that it can take months to complete and will require a budget. From parts, materials and labour to unexpected additional repairs, we can arrange a staged payment plan and before any extra work is carried out the owner will always be contacted to discuss further.
Rust Repairs
Rust never sleeps! So don't leave it too late. We can carry out rust repairs to keep your vehicle MOT ready and on the road. We can deal with unsightly areas on your vehicle's bodywork and even help prevent underbody rust issues with our rust prevention spray.
Headlight Refurbishment
Over time a headlight's factory applied UV coating will deteriorate leaving it cloudy and far less effective, not to mention the yellow aged look that makes your vehicle look a lot older than it really is. If left, the headlight lens can even become perished, or worse, be subject to an MOT failure.
Our 4 stage headlight restoration will bring your headlights back to full effectiveness and looking good as new, while also saving money in the long run by avoiding costly headlight unit replacements.
Machine Polishing
Country hedges, hand washing, automated machine washing, weather, animal fouling and even sun cream can leave the surface of your paint looking scratched, dull, covered in swirls and generally looking aged and very tired.
Our multi stage machine polishing will remove light, age-related marks. We can even remove road tar and use a clay bar for the more stubborn areas. Finishing off with a resin wax to reinstate your vehicle's lustre giving it the shine it deserves.
